Accounts, Businesses, & Resources We Love
Not a comprehensive list—just the ones we’re constantly double-tapping, cheering on, and inspired by.
When we first started creating language resources, we had no idea how rich, passionate, and generous the Samoan learning and creative community online would be. Over time, we’ve built genuine relationships with other makers, parents, educators, and artists who are walking similar paths—sharing their culture, stories, and creative gifts with the world.
We wanted to take a moment to shout out some of our most interacted-with accounts—not as a formal “top list,” but as a little love letter to our online aiga. These are the folks we learn from, laugh with, and are constantly rooting for.
@a.samoan.word.a.day
A daily dose of Samoan vocabulary, beautifully designed and thoughtfully explained. This account makes it easy to learn consistently in small, meaningful ways. The posts are warm, encouraging, and often come with cultural context that deepens your understanding.
@say_it_in_samoan

@chiefbookseries
We love these children’s books that center Samoan culture and values in a relatable way. The Chief series is empowering for Pacific Islander kids and such a strong example of how storytelling can reflect and affirm identity. We admire their work deeply.
@milasdm
Mila’s Books is the world’s only all-Pasifika publishing team, founded by award-winning author Dahlia Malaeulu to celebrate the languages, cultures, and identities of the Pacific. Their books—created by Pasifika authors, illustrators, and creatives—ensure tamaiti and their families feel seen, heard, and valued. Beyond publishing, they offer mentorship and literacy workshops to empower the next generation of storytellers. Their impact has earned national and international recognition, making them a true force in the world of culturally-rooted children’s literature.
@kokosamoakids
The cutest bilingual board books, puzzles, resources, and cultural toys! Their designs are bright, fun, and culturally relevant—exactly the kind of products we want for our Samoan tamaiti. We’ve cheered each other on from the beginning, and we adore them.
@malopepe_official
This mama ran business makes early learning so beautiful. We love seeing their board books and Faitau Pi poster. It’s clear how much care they pour into everything they do.
@kmptdesigns
Where do we begin? From stunning digital art to meaningful language guides, KMPT is a creative powerhouse. They blend faith, art, and culture in such intentional ways—we’ve learned so much from their work and always look forward to what’s next.
@msrachelsamoa
Rachel shares stories from her time as a missionary in Samoa, along with her favorite phrases and meaningful moments. Her videos are full of useful, contextual vocabulary and heart, making Gagana Samoa feel approachable and personal. It’s one of our favorite accounts to follow for picking up new phrases and cultural insight!

We know there are so many others doing incredible work in this space—and we’ll likely do another round of shout-outs in the future. But for now, these are just a few of the amazing folks who show up consistently, inspire us endlessly, and remind us that we’re not doing this work alone.
Give them a follow, send them some love, and keep supporting creators who are keeping our language and stories alive.
